Although its Fall the weather feels like summer sometimes. Transitioning wardrobes when its 80 degrees outside ca be hard, however adding a pair of booties or light jacket can help your outfit transition to fall. I love the combination of textures and prints in this look! Its just a fun, chic casual look that I love in the in between season time.

It is so crazy that fall is quickly approaching!! I cannot wait…I know you’re probably thinking what is wrong her!! As summer is coming to an end I am ready to jump into my leather jackets, suede skirts and booties. But there’s one problem…it’s still 90 degrees outside. I am slowly transiting my wardrobe from summer staples to my favorite fall trends.
This dress is the perfect mesh between summer and fall. The colors are vibrant but toned down with the warmer earth tones. I added a blue fur clutch (something that is going to be great for fall) and closed toed red pumps to dress up the look. Throw on a leather jacket and it’s perfect for a fall night.
So I recently went to Barbados…and it was breathtaking! We were surrounded by crystal blue water, warm weather and amazing people. It was so nice to get away for the week and relax on the beach. When we first arrived we explored the resort and looked at different excursions to do during the week. Luckily we had so much to do! My all time favorite was swimming with the turtles (unbelievably cute!). I would do it a million times over again and recommend it to anyone who hasn’t done it or has the opportunity to do it.
Now my beach style…I put up some of the suits I wore during my stay in Barbados. I am obsessed with one pieces this season and have been pushing my comfort zone (as seen with the neon suit).
It was an incredible vacation that was spent with amazing people.

Finding summer beauty products that work can be hard. I have rounded up some of my favorites that really work! I LOVE facial masks in the summer. Sometimes my skin gets too oily or burnt from the sun and I love to open my pores and brighten my skin with a good face mask. I recently went to Sephora and wanted to try some new products and came across the Shiseido retinol mask. It has two sheets soaked in a solution that brightens and helps clear skin…each half is placed on the face. You leave it on for 15 min and then pull the mask off and rinse with warm water. I love using this mask when I feel a breakout coming or after a long week of work.
Next is my FAV product right now. I use it at least 1 a week. The Rodial X-treme Hangover Mask (yes hangover mask) is a life saver. This is a perfect product to use after a night out (when you forget to take off makeup) or after a grueling day. You apply a thin layer to the face and after 15-20 minutes roll it off by moving two fingers in a circular motion. This ensures that your skin is rid of all the dead skin and bright new layer reveals itself after the mask comes off. It’s amazing!!
The last mask I swear by is Origins Black Charcoal Mask. This mask draws out deep clogging pores. The Mask absorbs all the toxins and then allows the skin to breathe.
Along with masks I also must use a dark circle, puffy eye gel because some nights I don’t get enough sleep! I have been through so many eye creams and none have really worked for me, but I recently read reviews on the La Mer Eye Gel and decided to try it. I’m so glad I did because it is one product that actually works for me. Though I don’t have the darkest circles, the puffiness is apparent in the morning. So I put a dot (pea size) underneath my eyes morning and night and get great results!
Now, skin isn’t the only thing we have to worry about in the summer. I spend plenty of time in the pool, beach and in the sun! I don’t like my hair drying out or getting flat so I like to spray some coconut water from OBX in my hair to keep it hydrated (plus it adds great texture!). I don’t blow dry my hair all the time…but when I do I love to add VOLUME! I have found this Aveda works best for instant volume without adding any unwanted roughness. It is a light spray that keeps your hair looking clean and shiny.
Hope you try some of these products!
