Its almost Friday! Here is a little inspiration for the weekend!! This scarf is to die for, its an amazing print, beautiful color and extremely warm (which is the most important thing especially with the recent weather). I also love my bracelets…which I received for Christmas. This light pink color flows beautifully through the outfit and brightens it up.

What this Healthy Food Can do for You

I have recently become a fanatic about finding delicious, healthy food to keep me energized and hearty. I want to share some of my favorite healthy diet secrets to help you guys maintain a healthy lifestyle! Everyone knows that the key, to getting vitamins in your diet, is to eat colorful, delicious fruits and vegetables (the more color, the better). I have recently discovered that mushrooms provide several important nutrients and tend to be left in the dark because let’s be honest they lack color and don’t always look all that appetizing.

But here is what you need to know about mushrooms.

1. naturally low in sodium, fat and cholesterol and calories

2. prevent chronic disease due to the antioxidants and fibers

3. can help enhance weight loss

4. improved immune system function

5. increasing vitamin D levels throughout your diet

I always love to cook and now that I am finding better ways to stay healthy, I am coming up with the most delicious recipes.

How to incorporate more mushrooms into your diet

When buying mushrooms in the market, chose ones that are firm, dry and unbruised (I tend to buy organic ones). Store them in the refrigerator and do not wash or trim until ready to cook.

My Recipe (it’s simple! and a fun side dish or snack)

1. Wash and dry mushrooms, and slice

2. Chop some garlic, coriander, and one lemon in half

3. Prepare a pan with a little extra virgin olive oil over medium heat
4. Once the pan has heated up place mushrooms, garlic and salt and pepper to taste
5. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until tender and lightly browned, occasionally stirring
6. Add lemon juice, one tablespoon of paprika and coriander and a tablespoon of white wine to the mushrooms
7. Cook for an additional 2 minutes
8. Let it cool and enjoy!

Hope everyone survived Jun, though Pennsylvania didn’t get as much as snow as I hoped! (haha) Anyway, I shot this look a while back and its a good look for a night out or dinner with the family. I love that it is sexy yet chic at the same time, to me thigh high boots always make a look more dramatic and make your legs look incredible! Normally I wouldn’t pair brown and black together but I was inspired when I saw the color combination in the Jacket. I am always for a good all black outfit, you honestly can ever go wrong;. But to spice up your outfit mix different textures.

Fire & Fringe






My FAVORITE kind of outfit, neutrals with a pop of color!! Ive been obsessed with fringe lately, its the perfect accessory to spice up your look. Fringe can be really over done but if you wear it the most subtle ways I think it works well. This Valentino clutch is to die for. The animal medallion detail and fringe combination is the right balance between edgy and chic. I tied the maroon color in with my Gucci sunglasses and kept the rest of my outfit neutral so that the accessories would be the focal point.


Sunday Mornings

afterphoto   Hey Guys!! Today I’m sharing my perfect start to a Sunday morning! I love waking up in the morning feeling ready to go, and ready to eat haha. I love to eat healthy and feel good after I eat each meal. I always make a cup of tea and eggs with some fruit on the side, but today I decided to change it up. I recently found this amazing recipe for a healthy alternative to pancakes (and they are so easy to make!) IMG_0264

1. Blend 1 banana, 2 eggs, a little milk and 2-3 spoons of chia seeds in the blender

2. Prep the pan with a little light butter, or coconut oil

3. Pour silver dollar pancake size pancakes on the pan and cook for 30 sec on each side

4. Stack on a plate, and dust some cinnamon, lemon and raspberries on top

5. Add syrup for sweetness and enjoy!!

I’m currently obsessed with neutrals! This sand, white color is currently trending all over, what a perfect alternate to a winter white! Any look in the winter needs a perfect coat, without one the outfit loses its whole look. I wanted to keep the same color scheme from head toe, and bring out certain colors here and there.

For me, I always need a pop of color regardless the season…The pop of color here was this beautiful burnt orange color! Another season favorite for me is over the knee boots especially  Stuart Weiztman’s highland boot.
